Questions
What's the minimum age?
There isn't one, but lower your expectations for climbers 5 and under. At that age it's time on the wall and having fun, not learning technique and sending boulders.
What's the coach-to-student ratio?
A maximum of 1:7. A class with more than seven students gets a second coach.
Do rental shoes come with every option?
No. Rentals are only included if you pick a "+ rental shoes" option, and they cover scheduled homeschool lessons only, not visits outside of class.
Can I buy climbing shoes with EFA funds?
Possibly. Families using EFA may be able to submit shoe purchases from us through ClassWallet if eligible under future guidelines. Approval is determined by EFA/ClassWallet, not by us.
My climber wants to compete. What's next?
We run a Comp Team for youth competitions through USA Climbing. It's more intensive than this program: advanced technique, strength, and competition strategy. Climbers must complete a try-out to qualify. Email Head Coach Jason at bouldersandbrewsgym@gmail.com.

02 · Learning Lab
Physics 1.0. Physics you can climb on.
Learn. Move. Measure. Solve. An 8-week physics lab built around the climbing wall, and a separate course from the climbing program. Students run experiments on real apparatus, graph what they find, and explain it.
